We got a Kick-out in PGN :(

I am so-o-o-o-o-o bummed. Tomorrow will mark 5 weeks that we have been in PGN, and I just prayed and hoped we would be out in a few weeks. Well, I called PGN today and found out we got a "previo" or kick-out on January 25. Don't know why we got it... we are not yet resubmitted either because of the new Central Authority registration requirement. UGH... We have a call with our agency later today, hope we learn some hopeful news at that time.

The Hubster is Full of Surprises...

Dan and I hosted a birthday party for our 3 pooches yesterday and divided all the prep work. He went to the grocery store and I told him to get dessert for the humans (I got the pooches cake). Well, imagine my surprise when he came home with not one, but two cakes, plus a dozen long stemmed red roses for me. :) Look at the first cake, it is what I expected... a wish for the pooches birthday.

Now look at the second cake...

It says "Let's Bring Dominic Home"! I though that was so sweet... Domi is in our thoughts every second of every day. We have been in PGN three weeks with no known kick-outs, so we have decided Dan will head to Guatemala in March to foster him until it's time to bring him home. Our prayer is he will be home in April. We'll post updates as we move through the process.

Sacrament of Baptism

OK, I know I am getting a little ahead of myself... but one of the first things we want to do when we bring Domi home is have him baptized in the Catholic church. Dan and I are Catholic and will raise him that way too.

Last spring when I went on a shopping spree at the local outlet mall, I ran across this awesome high end store called Strausburg Children that has gorgeous special occasion clothes. Look at these adorable choices for this very special occasion and let me know what you think. He will look SO handsome with his dark hair and skin against the soft white fabric - our little angel! :)

My favorite is the long-sleeved one...
